THE NORTH SEA

1. The north sea

In calm weather or if there is an easterly wind, you can fish directly from the beach or from the breakwaters, on the entire of coastline between Fjaltring and Thyborøn. You will find especially good angling grounds at Bovbjerg, Ferring and Trans. Species of fish : Flatfish ( plaice, flounder, dab ), cod, mackerel, garfish, sea trout, salmon, grey mullet and others.

LIMFJORDEN

2. Oddesund

By Oddesund, about 20 km north east of Lemvig and 12 km north tf Struer, you can fish from both sides of the Oddesund brigde. It is one of the best areas for garfish but there are also good opportunities for sea trout and flatfish.

3. Toftum - Remmerstrand - Nr. Nissum

Between Lemvig and Oddesund there are numerous attractive angling grounds, of which the most wellknown are "Kabbelkysten", the coast at  Nr. Nissum, Remmerstrand and Toftum Bjerge.

4. Gjeller Odde

Offers good opportunities for catching sea trout, garfish, eel and flatfish. Gjeller Odde is known as an excellent place to catch especially sea trout and garfish. Anglers should absolutely visit the north coast in spring.

5. Lemvig Sø

The lake is situated in Lemvig town. Here angling for pike, perch, trout, eel and roach takes place.

6. Flynder Å ( Fishing license is required )

About 15 km south of Lemvig and 2o km south west of Struer. Species of fish : A fine population of brown trout, rainbow trout, eel, pike and roach. You might even catch a sea trout.

7. Engbo ( Fishing license is required )

About 15 km east of Lemvig and 6 km north west of Struer. Species of fish : brown trout, rainbow trout, tench and eel.

8. Horn Sø ( Fishing license is required )

About 2 km north  of Lemvig. Species of fish : brown trout, lavaret, flounder, eel, perch and roach.
